"Essentials for CSR's" is an on-demand solution to one of the biggest challenges facing independent insurance agents today, training customer service staff to create efficiencies and improve job performance. The modules are interactive, combining sight and sound to enhance retention and shorten the learning curve. Topics include verbal communication, E&O loss prevention, customer management, business writing and negotiation skills. The twelve e-modules are available on-line and do not require time away from the office. The benefits are increased efficiency to the agency, increased confidence to the individual CSR and increased customer satisfaction.

 Login / Register

Before You Begin...

Click on the blue Login/Register button at the top right corner of the page to enter your login information. If you do not have a Virtual University Login, you can register a new account. This allows the system to recognize you. It also ensures that you can view all information pertaining to you, such as your purchased courses and previous course records. Students that have already purchased or started a course can go to the Returning Students page to resume your course or to view your course records. If you have any technical questions or concerns, contact Support at virtualuniversity@iiaba.net.
 Getting Started

Once You've Logged In...

We recommend that you take a look at the FAQ's page to familiarize yourself with the VU LearnCenter's System Requirements. Click on the Course Catalog tab to review the targeted skills covered in each module. Click on the Enroll button to register and start benefiting from the user friendly, interactive technology. CSRs will learn at their own pace and can return to the modules at their convenience. Knowledge Checkpoints and Assessment questions reinforce the learning objectives of each module. A certificate is available to print after each module is completed.

Newly Hired CSRs!

Newly hired or inexperienced CSRs might start with Verbal Communication Modules 1 & 2. All CSRs will benefit from Modules 3-12, click on Course Catalog tab for course listings and further details.
